Sims 4 toddler-teen eyes keep changing?

Having an issue where every time i enter CAS in some way, my toddlers (and recently my teen too) come out with different eye colors. They are all spellcasters and many times the eyes will change to one of the spellcaster eyes specifically, but not always. Also two of those sims have an extra "form" that you can only see in their portrait when you save the family in the gallery, but none of these sims are vampires or any other occult type besides SC. I had temporarily moved all of my CC out and repaired my game but still nothing worked. Is there anything I may be doing wrong? Thank you.
