Sims 4 octagonal roof is off-center.. Any way I can fix this?

Trying to build an octagon greenhouse inspired by something I found on Google Images, but I ran into a problem real quick.

The brown outline is the roof trim I have on the octagonal roof. See how messed up it is? It doesn't line up with the half walls at all. On the inside there's even outdoor lighting because the game thinks there isn't technically a roof over my greenhouse because of all the weird gaps. Is there a way I can fix this, or is the roof just messed up and the Sims 4 team has to fix it and patch it up?

From the image it appears that the walls are not equal length. Fix that and the roof should fit. Turn on the grid so it becomes easier for you to see.

Unfortunately, the game seems not to understand our desire for irregular polygons.
