Sims 4 new game deleted families.

I accidentally hit New Game in Sims 4 and it wiped out all my families I created. Is there a way to get them back?

@ladybarber2, you can have more than one "Save Game" in the Sims 4.   I have to ask: if you now try to Load an previous save, is everything but your newest save gone?  That shouldn't happen!   However, you might now have 2 save games, in which case you can switch between the two.  If you could please tell us exactly what you see (as well as what steps you doing) so we can narrow this down. 

Also, there should be an option to restore a previous save.  Have you tried that?
