Shower Energy Items Not Working

Could someone help me with a fix for my shower energy dilemma? My shower does not want to register the hamper for the extra 3 energy points, and I am stuck at 10. I tried putting both hampers I have into inventory and replacing them, and the shower still stands at 10 energy. Does anyone know how I can fix this?

Thank you for that wonderful Energy Chart. I realized that I am missing 2 items in the bathroom that would get me to 13 energy! That was so helpful!
