Retiring

★★★ Novice

Before the recent update I could retire and move my sim out. Now, it will only let me move out a sim I haven’t played before my sim can retire! I want to be able to play all my sims in turn.

Re: Retiring

Are the Sims you mention "old enough" to retire? Have you tried retiring them this way:

Re: Retiring

I am having the same issue. Before, when I opted to retire an adult playable Sim, it gave me the choice to move the retired Sim out or to move another Sim out. Now, it only gives me the option to move non-playable Sims out, so I can no longer progress all my Sims as I would like. Please return the option to move the retiring Sim out if I want to.

To respond to the only other response I see, it does not matter if the Sim is retired with a birthday cake icon or through the retirement option in the Sim's profile section.
