Recording issues

Hi, I am trying to record my Sims 4 building process but the recording keeps stopping by itself at random times and I have no idea why. Can anyone help?

@Erica161001 Are you recording the building process to make a YouTube video? I find the in-game video recorder is not high enough in resolution to make a proper YouTube video. You may want to use an external recording software - external to the game.

Unfortunately, it's an additional load you your computer to have the recorder plus the game open. If your game is freezing while using the in-game recorder this may be an issue. On the other hand, the issues you're having with it may just involve limitations on the in-game video recorder.
