How I reset sims to use game packs

I don't use Origin anymore because of it not letting me play my game after updating it, I downloaded EA Play and it works just like Origin but I don't know how to complete the install for the Realm Of Magic Game Pack. It says restart to use and I restarted my computer but it still says it. If you have any idea how to fix this please tell me!

@Mischief_50  I've split your post into its own thread because the other thread was a bit old.

Does any Realm of Magic content show up in-game?  Please look for both Glimmerbrook and Build/Buy content.

If you don't see the content, please open your Sims 4 install location, which by default would be in Program Files (x86)\Origin Games.  Inside the Sims 4 folder, let me know whether you see a folder labeled GP08, RoM being the eighth game pack released.
