My two female sims each paid the gems to get custom outfits from Izzy. Unfortunately, both times they were given male outfits unusable by my sims.
That was a lot of jewels to “spend” in order to get useless content. Anyone else have this issue?

Yeah, the outfits are totally random. I also have two male, but at least I have one male sim so he can use them. :/

Why does Izzy design male clothes for females? I’ve wasted gems 3xs and received male outfits that I cannot wear! Is there a fix coming for this?

Yes this is so disappointing. It takes so long to get gems plus you have to pay extra to change the creation. He should only create clothes in the gender we choose.

Let me also add that when I went to make this item for my female sim I was originally happy because I received a yellow crop top...then go to put it on an find out it’s only for males to wear and it’s a super short crop at that. Not planning on making any guy sims at the moment but a crop top prob wouldn’t be my first pick. 🙄

Hi,

Izzy creates random items, including a random gender. Inspiration comes when it comes! You might get female clothes with your male Sims and viceversa.

If you’re going to give out clothing that is traditionally not gender neutral like crop tops, skirts etc. then make them gender neutral. Because some ppl don’t want to dress their male sims in crop tops and skirts.

If the clothes are going to be random, then the sim being played at the time should be able to wear them (regardless of the item being male or female). Otherwise you are having players spend jewels in a * shoot on whether they get a useful item. This function in the game is totally misleading.
You’d be better off offering a “casino” experience in the game, that way players know the odds of losing their jewels and wouldn’t waste them unnecessarily.

I took my female avatar to Izzy and paid the 20 gems and he created a male shirt! I have 3 male shirts and no female shirts! Please fix!
