Problem with The Sims 4 launching after I downloaded Cottage Living.

Hello,

I purchased the Cottage Living expansion pack and attempted to add it to my game through the EA app. It downloaded, but when I tried to launch my game it said that I need to have The Sims 4 downloaded, which I already have it. I tried to redownload it but that's not even an option. I cannot launch my game, or re-download it. If anyone knows how to fix this issue, I would appreciate it if you would let me know how.
