No floor in Build mode

I'm trying to build and the floor won't appear when i make a room. Cant place flooring either. Doesnt work with platforms either. I tried repairing the game but it's the same. Anyone else?

Are you on Mac? If so, please try another game repair per the directions at this link:

Do you have any Mods &/or CC... or did you in the past? If so, please try the following, also making sure you've deleted the mentioned cache file (click spoiler tag):

Move your Mods folder from your "The Sims 4" folder [Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4] to your desktop (save it for reference) and delete the localthumbcache.package file in your “The Sims 4” folder. Then check in a new game save to see if this issue is still occurring. If the issue is gone, please re-add the Mods/CC one at a time until you find the one causing the issue. If you have a lot of Mods/CC you can try the 50/50 method.

I look forward to hearing if you have any results from any of this to know if we should pursue other options.
