I've found a new bug since the last update. Considering the bugs introduced with previous updates, this is a minor one but I'm hoping it will be looked into. My Sims get hungry and go to make food. Then they sit it on the counter and go and make more food. If not stopped, they will make several different meals but not eat any of them. I find if I stay right on top of the process I can cancel the next round of cooking and tell them to eat what they've made.
It sure would be nice if EA could someday roll out an update that didn't break something...

@Geezerbiker I'm wondering if you are on PC/Mac? If so, do you have any Mods/CC? If you do, please try removing them and the cache file mentioned in the directions (click spoiler tag below for directions):

Yes that's the same problem I'm having and I did ME TOO on the other report of the problem. I play the game on a PC. I do have a mod installed and I'll consider trying it without it.
I moved the Sim family to a new home and the problem is happening less frequently. I started a new game recently and I'm in the process of building up wealth for my Sims. It's more fun to build wealth than to maintain it.

@Geezerbiker I'm glad to hear you found a bit of relief of the issue for your Sim household. Please track that bug report in the future to see if any workarounds are found by others and are posted there, and to watch for any fix in upcoming patches, as when a bug is fixed in a patch the report gets labeled as such.
