My newborn sim won grow up!

Hello, 

I have recently had a baby on sims mobile and the family event came up before I looked at the quest to do a family event. So I clicked on it and did the family event. Then I saw the quest and it still wasn’t complete, after I restarted the game and the event came up again even though I just finished it. But the quest is still not complete and a family event won’t show up. How can I fix this it’s really annoying?

@iiaestheticsims family events happen once a day. They are available in the morning when I open my game. 

When was the baby born? 

Did you get a new baby event today? Was it possible for you to complete the quest?
