@Nightwolf1977 Was the toilet upgraded to Composting Container? If so, the flammable toilet isn't so much a bug as a... erm... feature.

I had the same thing happen when I plowed through all the new upgrades as soon as Eco Living was introduced.

The Composting Container upgrade is associated with the bug farm. The only way to reduce the likelihood of fire is to use the bug-created bio fuel. (Honestly, not sure why you need to add fuel to a toilet when the opposite should be true, but there you go.)

Try deleting that toilet, replacing it with a new one, performing all the desired upgrades again without the composting one, and see if that fixes your problem.

Mine only started happening today (human days) and in the same sim day (a few sim hours apart) two of my sims had it happen to them!

@Nightwolf1977 As @Thistle1414 said, this isn't a bug if you added that upgrade on the toilet. Did you do that ?

There is this issue: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/NEEDS-INPUT-Seeing-flames-in-the-toilet-when-it-is-being-used/... but that's just a visual issue.

That actually makes sense since it doesn't happen everytime. Of course then that means I'm gonna have to take precautions everytime my sims use the toilet They need to add fireproof suits for bathroom use now I guess lol

The Composting container does not use fuel It provides compost for the insect farm. If you installed h2o siphoner this can use bio fuel. It does not have anything to do with the flames some see in the toilet while peeing This is a graphical glitch only.

I have this happen on all my toilets.. in all worlds. I wish I could remember which  SimGuru said it was a bug and they know about it. LOL It was on Twitter. but for the life of me I cannot remember but it did start for me anyway after I installed Eco LOL. I think it is funny.. no damage or harm is being done LOL just think of it as sewer gasses igniting lol

Is this fixed? Every time my sims go to the toilet it catches fire.

This is, unfortunately, still an issue. Do not say it has been fixed because I removed 900 pieces of CC and mods and my kids still catch on fire using the toilet.

This works as intended. If you add the composting container and forget to empty it regularly it can indeed burst into flames. The other issue mentioned here is a graphical glitch only and that glitch has been solved. Please do not confuse the two.
