Make video game interaction

Whenever my sim finishes making a video game i name it but then recieve no money only the royalties. Tge make mobile app interaction seems to be working fine though.

Am i supposed to recieve an upfront sum I havnt played the programming skill in ages but im pretty sure youre supposed to espcially seeming as the make mobile app does

@jasoncott, I haven't had my Sims make a video game in a while, but I only remember receiving royalties from it, and don't remember receiving any money up front.  If I'm wrong this is a minor bug, but if I remember correctly then this is probably either an oversight, or else it was intended.
