Likes/Dislikes stagnation [ Edited ]

The system of likes and dislikes came with the patch 113 on May 27th, 2021 and it hasn't really been updated ever since. Sure, Dream Home Decorator adds a "decor" category, and High School Years brings a new "fashion" category (at least to the best of my knowledge), but that's really about it. These last two additions are only available with DLCs (and are tightly related to them), which means the base game still only has categories of "colour," "music genre," and "activities."

I think it would be cool if there were more categories added - as I vividly remember people responsible for this talk about how they'll slowly add more to this feature. I'm not asking for anything hyper-specific like 'favourite fruit' or 'flower', but perhaps a 'favourite dish' could be an option? I know there's a ton of dishes in Sims 4 as of now but maybe it could list at least the base game ones (like in Sims 3)? Or maybe 'favourite cuisine' to make it less complicated? Cottage Living divides meat into types (white, red...) so even dietary preferences would work in general!

Another idea I had revolved around occults - maybe a preference to like or dislike a certain type of occults? Be a fan of plant sims but dislike aliens or something like that? I thought it could work like Supernatural Fan/Skeptic traits from Sims 3 but it might be difficult to implement now. Perhaps at least Vampire Lore could be added to the "activity" category? We have quite a handful of occults now, it has potential for sure!

I know this is such a minor thing to ask for - and, of course, I don't mean to sound demanding - but I absolutely love the likes/dislikes system and I find it a bit sad that nothing else is being done with it. It's almost as if we got it to calm down the more angry and disappointed Simmers, and when it worked - it was over. Am I the only one who feels this way? Are there any other ideas for categories you might have? Or is this system not significant to your way of playing?

EDIT: I just remembered more small examples. Sims can also establish their favourite weather and favourite movie genre! Why can't we just put these options into Likes/Dislikes now? Patch 132 that came out yesterday (at the time of my writing this) and it states that "When socializing with another Sim, questions related to "Likes and Dislikes" now are grouped together under a category with that name." Since the options for Likes/Dislikes won't clutter the socialising options, why not add more categories now? Imagine a category of 'Ice Cream' if you have Cool Kitchen stuff! I truly hope at least these two examples I mentioned at the beginning of this edit undergo these changes.
