What happens when the bug occurs? When the age bar blinks, the system will tell you that you're dying, but you're still alive
What do you expect to see? It's the same as a human lifespan

@mengzhu123 Moving this to GD. This is not a bug.

Sims don't die as soon as the bar starts blinking. There's a chance that they die but they can live on a lot longer if than that.

Always been like that.

It's official, isn't it? Mermaids live longer than humans? The equivalent of a longevity bonus feature?

@mengzhu123 Apparently they live stupidly long, yes. My mermaid lived for a full sim year (28 days, since I was using the Seasons' calendar) with her age bar bubbling away.
