What I really wanted to discuss is some basic stuff that the Sims 4 is lacking in comparison to Sim 3 .As a Sims fan, I have been with the game from day 1, and liked the improvements from The Sims to Sims 3 . What I loved about the Sims 3 , was the freedom of movement walking outdoors in the neighborhood or just simply going to the beach. I enjoyed the fact that they had expansion packs such as season which allowed you to be creative during the different times . It was more interactive that way . Even such things as driving , bikes, teaching your children to ride a bicycle, teenagers how to drive , taking babies out in strollers or kids/teenagers could prank persons and their house .I liked other expansions such as into the future , sims university and you could actually take your family on a vacation at cabin etc

You need to see The Sims 4 as a new game, the concept is the same but the way it's working is different.
Of course new packs might just come in the future, but it takes some time. This was the same with The Sims 3.
The Sims 3 was released in June 2009 and the Seasons expansion was released in November 2013.

I understand that , but most of these packages such as laundry day didn't need expansion packs and could have been included in the base game . Plus the outline of Sims 3 base game with us having the freedom to roam , like walking around the neighbourhood or to the beach is what made the game lovely. I think having to revert back to being restricted on that , is like going back to Sims2

A lot of people feel that way, including me. I would love an open neighbourhood as an option. I say as an option, because having an open world gave issues with The Sims 3.
A bit like they do with the shading, if you have a strong computer you see it, if not you don't.

I agree. I love the improvements in CAS from Sims 3 to Sims 4, but I really miss the open neighborhood. In some ways, I think Sims 3 is a better game than Sims 4. Sims 4's focus on CAS compromised gameplay. I think Sims 3 had more nuanced interactions. What I do like about Sims 4 is that it comes with multiple neighborhoods and more buy/build options.
