Is pets getting released to console?

There has been so many talks and dates that the pets will be released for console but is it going to happen? And if or when will my first pets been with it because I like how you are releasing the packs in two but they go together like the next ones for this month are parenthood and toddler stuff.
I'm finally getting over that seasons won't be on console for a while if it comes out. I have this hope that it will haha
