Is The Sims Mobile a dead game? [ Edited ]

What is going on here? I've tried plenty of time to defend this game but now it's kinda impossible, updates are empty and new features (if we ever want to call em features lol) are pay-to-win, the game is a repetitive grind-fest and there's no fun to play it. Moreover my friends list is pure desert, people are sick of TSM and nobody seems to play it anymore.

Really hope you know what is happening and that players are tired of it.
