Inviting and Sending Sims - Help [ Edited ]

In the SIMS 4, when you invite someone over or invite them in, they swipe objects from the home, i.e cabinets, computers, counters, etc. When you use the Send Home option, they don't leave. Is this a glitch?

You have the Sharing is Caring NAP enacted. You can repeal it using the Community voting board or the mailbox.
