I have the option to clean furniture but it is already clean

What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? City living Outdoor retreat Tiny living
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? By playing the game. I also had the dirty lot trait.
What happens when the bug occurs? Furniture gives the option to clean it but it is already clean. If my sim tries to clean it the item will still give the option for it to be cleaned. I’ve also tried replacing the furniture but the bug is still there, on all lots.
What do you expect to see? That it will only give the clean option if it actually has to be cleaned.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

I cannot attach a photo but all it is is that all my furniture has the option to be cleaned when they already appear to be clean.

I have 2 adult sims and 2 child sims but both adult sims have the neat trait, cheerful trait and good trait.

@mortman64 I think they do have that now. That's not a bug. They are so neat, they find a spot to clean on everything, even clean surfaces

It gets confusing when in a retail, since the surfaces with items for sell gets dirty, with a moodlet both for costumers and owner; but a neat owner can clean til' tomorrow and still not find the smell's origin...

I think the issue is that the autonomy is too much. During as regular game play, the sims would clean the same surface non-stop til they are exhausted. This is not neat behavior, it's compulsive.
