How to get rid of client in sims 4 law career?

What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? get to work, get together, city living, seasons, cats and dogs, get famous, island living, discover university, jungle adventure, parenthood, vampires, spa day, outdoor retreat
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? have a sim who is an attorney offer legal services to a sim, and then gotten engaged to that sim. the game does not allow them to get married due to the fiance being her legal client and I don't know how to undo it.
What happens when the bug occurs? when i tried to get my sim to marry her fiance, the game doesn't allow them to be married, because the fiance is listed as her 'legal client', even after my sim quit the law career.
What do you expect to see? i was expecting for there to be an option to drop a client, but it wasn't available. the 'legal client' relationship remained even when my sim quit the law career

@BlackRosesPL I tested this and didn't have any issues getting married to a legal client.

Could you post a screenshot of the message ? Also did you test without mods ?
