How to get an heirloom?

I have to have an heirloom to pick the traits I want. It would be great if the game told us how to do that.

@JohnDoe889 You have to complete family events, story chapters & tasks in the game so you can earn life tickets which you can use to redeem on Heirlooms tab.

You can also buy using simcash.

@dissenterjasmine I don't even see a place in the store to buy them with SimCash, or an Heirlooms tab.

Tap the bag symbol on top of your screen beside the simoleons (coin symbol). That's were you can buy stuff.
