Hello all,
Recently we shared a Tweet from @TheSimsDirect sharing the following:
We are aware of & have seen the content circulating on Twitter regarding The Sims 4 Gallery uploads that are wholly unacceptable. In order to ensure we are enforcing the appropriate steps & consequences, please use the "Flag This " button on The Gallery to report these uploads.
To better assist with keeping the Gallery appropriate for all users, we've taken the steps to explain exactly how to report content to us for review and if appropriate, removal from The Gallery.
If you're using The Gallery in game, please see the steps here:
First click on the item you wish to report to expand it, then click the Report button that looks like a little flag in the bottom left of the box as seen below:
Then, give us a little context on why this doesn't belong:
That's it! We'll take care of the rest on our side. Thank you for helping us keep The Gallery safe and appropriate for everyone.
If you're using The Gallery via web browser, please use these steps:
First, select the item you wish to let us know about, then click the flag in the bottom right corner that says Flag This on mouseover:
Then in the new window that popped up, let us know why it doesn't belong:
That's it! We'll take care of the rest on our side. Thank you for helping us keep The Gallery safe and appropriate for everyone.

As part of EA’s Positive Play Charter, The Sims 4 Gallery is switching from a profanity word list, which was very rigid and prone to becoming outdated over time as language evolves, to a more context-aware system that can be updated frequently without the need for game updates. This allows us to customize the experience to The Sims 4 allowing you the freedom to express yourself on your Gallery uploads.
While we have high expectations for this new technology on The Sims 4 Gallery to catch most violations, there may be cases that slip through the cracks or are detected and flagged when they shouldn’t be.
This is an invite to all Simmers to help improve accuracy, and make the Gallery a welcoming place for all, by providing your feedback via The Sims 4 Gallery Profanity Filter Feedback Survey.
The ability to report content in the Gallery to EA will remain and that process is unchanged. So while we appreciate your feedback here, please continue to play safe and report content when needed.

I just completed a castle build in the likeness of Ilvermorny School of Magic from the Harry Potter fandom. It will not allow me to upload to the gallery because of the name Ilvermorny. How do I notify EA games that this is being flagged as inappropriate which is not sexual in nature? I’ve tried searching, but there’s no appropriate link. I’ve had another issue with using nob (Nob hill for a Victorian mansion one time (which is understandable) but the actual name from the story line that’s not sexualized?

Hello, I haven't shared any Sims in a few days. Now I wanted it but I can't because of a forbidden word. I googled about it and my supposedly forbidden German word wasn't in the list. I only use hashtags and the names of the creators of poses, default eyes and default skins in the description. I took out every single word from the description, so I took out one word and tried to share, took out the next word and tried to share, and so on. It was all of no use. What else I tried: repaired the game, uninstalled the game, removed mods, started a new save game, emptied the games cache, emptied the avatar cache, emptied the local thumb cache, emptied the EAapp cache and reinstalled it.

The one thing you didn't say you tried, is changing the Sim's name. It could be that the household name has a forbidden word in another language within the name that you aren't familiar with. I've had that happen with Asian names, including two that the game generated. If not the household name, then possibly an individual sim's name could be setting off the forbidden word filter.
Hope this helps.
