Household lost everything during transfer.

I wanted to move my teen sim and her elder dad to my other household because I didn’t want her to live alone and he’s going to die soon. So I moved them to my other household and I thought all their money and furniture would transfer but it didn’t. I tried to send them back to the house but they aren’t able to go back now. How do I go back so I can put them back into their old house and how can I transfer one income to another incomes household ?

Can you go back to an older save? Best is to move the person without stuff to the one with the stuff.
