House disasters and hurt sims

There should be dramatic house disasters like flooding damage in multiple rooms or when the house gets set on fire more things burn more quickly and at a bigger range. 

Sims should be able to get hurt more so you can take care of them like broken leg or arm.

@SalcidoIM, while it won't hurt the Sims, there are some Lot Traits you can add to your house to make your Sims have a little bad luck or hardship.  There are lot traits like :

Creepy Crawlies
Cursed
Filthy

Gremlis

Grody

Haunted

Mean Vibe

Quake Zone

Vampire Nexus

Volcanic Activity

You might need some of the other packs to be able to access all of these traits, but some of them come with the base game! All of the traits listed above will give your Sims some type of hardship.  Hover your cursor over the names in the game to read their descriptions.  There are a few other Lot Traits that aren't necessarily bad, but might prove challenging, such as: On a Dark Ley Line, Off-the-Grid, Cat Hang Out, and Dog Hangout.  

To access the Lot Traits, Go into Build/Buy Mode and click on the Venue Info button (looks like a little house with an "I" on it).

 

Then click on the Traits Panel button

Next click on one of the Pick a Trait buttons

Finally choose which trait or traits you want

So, while that isn't exactly what you are looking for, it does give you a taste of it.   And the good thing is that you can have up to 3 of these bad lot traits and that each house can have a different set of them so you can have some unique houses and experiences!
