Edgewater Quay and Landgraab Lot as Anniversary Presents

On Friday June 12th, I believe it was, I was on a road trip, and I logged in briefly to Sims Mobile while on the road. I had Valentina Edgewater and Whatsisface Landgraab pop up and say that I had been given their lots as an anniversary gift. However, as I was trying to click through to get more information, I lost LTE signal on the road. I have since logged back in and had no information regarding these gifts. It seems like an extravagant gift, but I am certain that they were offering it to me for that moment. Did anyone else get this? Was it a bug, or did EA give it and then take it away again? Or am I missing out on something cool?
