Door placement options

It it in any way possible to place new doors on outer walls? So far I could not figure out how to do that. I want to place a back door on my house but it seems impossible to put it on an outer wall, I can only place it in walls that are between two rooms. Can anyone give me some tips please?

@hamster-girm You can only place on outer walls if there is a space in the house where you are trying to place the door and the land is cleared on the outside
