Doctor career baby issue!

So my sim is chief of staff and a pregnant lady came to the hospital. I delivered the baby no issue except just before the end of the procedure the mom ran off to use the bathroom. Instead of disappearing like they usually do, the baby is still by the surgery table! Will the baby be gone by next shift?

I am thinking that is should be and that it is only a graphic glitch of sorts.  I hope mother and baby are reunited.
