Disabled for Special Venues

Now that we can change any lot to rental, I'm still having issues in Sulani. I tried placing down a Residential lot from the Gallery and I'm getting the "Disabled for special venues" message. I did use Zerbu's venue mod prior to EA updating the game in November for the new patch, so I'm wondering if its a save file that's causing this bug, but is there a way to fix this???

On what lot are you trying to place a residential lot?

I'm trying to place the lot on Sapphire Shores.

@alphageaux Also having this problem Currently in Sulani. The Rental lot (Selvadorada) in SULANI is also broken for me

Selvadorada is in Jungle adventure. It does not have anything to do with Sulani.

To work around.

- Load any household and travel to the faulty lot (necessary step)
- Change to build mode
- Open the gallery and load any residential lot onto the lot
- You will now see the lot type as residential but greyed out.
- Change to map and back to build mode. You should now be able to change the lot type again

Let me know if this works.

If not, it's best if you create your own thread in https://answers.ea.com/t5/Game-Issues/bd-p/the-sims-4-game-issues-en giving more details what you are seeing and what you did for it to happen.
