Did EA change how to get satisfaction points in the Sims4?

I've been playing my 100 baby challenge on the Sims4 for a while now and I've tried everything to get satisfaction points so I can get the fertile trait, but I couldn't figure out how. I used to play console and there were those little clouds (i don't know what they're called) above your sim in the little profile in the bottom left-hand corner, but now that I've switched to PC they're not there and I don't know how to get satisfaction points. was the method to get them changed or is there a weird setting I don't know about?

The tasks in the bubbles above sims' heads are called whims, and you now need to manually enable them to see them.  You can find the setting under Options > Gameplay.
