"Cottage Living" Pre-Order Items not appearing in game

Hi, I pre-ordered a digital copy about a month ago, I put the code into Origin earlier today and it said it was "unlocked" until it became available and turned into "download".  I just downloaded it but the bonus items aren't there?

I contacted EA Help. They didn't want to give it to me because I didn't buy it through Origin, so I linked the tweet from elliebreton's post. From "You're right, granting additional content now." to actually getting the content was 21 minutes.

I have the same issue, got a digital copy elsewhere as the announcement assured players that you could get the bonus content then. I have screenshot of the tweet where they confirmed this as well. However it's not showing in my game.....

At least the issue is not isolated! So it seems that every physical copies has the issue so far

I went on virtual chat with them and they just told me to query it with the retailer you bought it from. Absolute rubbish.

@alanmichael1 Going to move this to general discussion as issues with entitlements are usually not game bugs but something else is going on.
