Hi Friends!

Looks like Pogo heard you loud and clear-- a handful of Flash-powered games are sticking around a while longer. Party hat

You'll be able to play the remaining Flash titles on both Pogo and Pogo Classic.

To play Flash games on Pogo, just follow these steps:

Step 1: Select the “Games” option from the top site menu.
Step 2: Hover your mouse over the “Flash” category at the bottom of the list.
* Step 3: Pick one of the games listed, or follow the “Browse all Flash Games” link to see the full catalog.

Browse and Play Flash Games

Here’s all the Flash games that will remain on Pogo a while longer:

* *Bejeweled 3

* *Bingo Luau

* *BOGGLE Bash

* *Chess

* *Dominoes

* *Everyone Wins Bingo

* *MONOPOLY

* *MONOPOLY – The World Edition

* *No Limit Texas Hold’em

* *Plants vs. Zombies

* *Pogo Bowl

* *Poppit! Sprint

* *RISK

* *TRIVIAL PURSUIT Daily 20

* *Yahtzee

* *YAHTZEE Party!

* *Zuma’s Revenge

Note: you won't be able to play them on Apple tablets or phones, as Flash has never been supported on those devices. In-game purchasing will also remain disabled in these games, so you won't be able to buy any additional power-ups. Please use up the ones you have!

Since Flash support is being phased out across the web, all of these games will still be going away later this year. Pogo has no control over this but will keep the games up as long as they can.

Want to join the conversation on Flash games and more? Stop by the Pogo Forums!

The good news is Pogo has more games on the way, including remastered versions of a few favorites. Be sure to check out the blog regularly for the latest updates.

Take care and see you soon!

Pogo Chat.jpg

Pogo Chat.jpg

One of the most-requested features has arrived on the new Pogo – Chat! Join your friends or make new ones as you cheer each other on, coordinate games and swap friendly conversation.

Pogo Chat.jpg

Chat is available in all HTML5-powered games on the new Pogo. You can access it from the bottom of the game menu on the right side of the screen. In fact, you might have already noticed Joyce stopping by to introduce you to Chat. If not, you'll see her the next time you load a game.

To check it out right now, just jump into a game!

Browse all Games

Chat is only available to players with Pogo or Club Pogo accounts. Register for free or join Club Pogo to start chatting while you play!

Here's what you can expect in the new Chat:

  • Other players can see your Pogo Avatar. As always, you can adjust it by visiting your My Profile page. Choose between many Pogo characters, your Mini, or even your favorite Badges.

Pogo Chat.jpg

  • When you join chat, you're automatically placed in one of several available rooms. If you have any friends playing, you will automatically be placed in the same room as them when you join. You can easily hop between the different rooms by clicking on the room name at the top.

Pogo Chat.jpg

  • Connect with old friends and make new ones. Clicking on another player's avatar will bring up additional information, along with Add Friend, Report and Block options.
  • Add a little extra flair to your messages with emojis.
  • Club Pogo members get access to five exclusive rooms in every game.
  • Your chat comments are visible to everyone in the same game room. Private Chat is in the works and will be available later.
  • Please note: Chat is currently only available on desktops and laptops. We'll be introducing support for other devices in future updates.

The Chat feature on Pogo Classic will remain available, though you will not be able to see or interact with players using the new Chat feature.

More features and improvements are on the way to Pogo, so keep your eyes peeled. Be sure to leave any feedback in the Forums – we're always listening!

See you in Chat!

11/03 - Spades HD Table Chat FAQ

[ Edited ]
Community Manager (retired)

Q: What is Table Chat?

A: Multiplayer games allow you to play directly with other players. Table Chat is a dedicated chat room just for the people who you are actively playing with at the moment. You can think of multiplayer games as sitting down at a table to play with some other people, and Table Chat is how you can talk with them. Many multiplayer games already have a similar chat feature, but we’ll be updating them to integrate this new version of Table Chat alongside the existing Game Chat. This lets you do all your chatting in one place, and makes it easy to add the people you’re playing with as Pogo friends.

Q: How do I join Table Chat?
A: Each multiplayer game will be a little different but in general the steps will be:

  1. Start or join a multiplayer game with other people (not a robot game).
  2. Open the chat bar by clicking on the chat button in the bottom-right corner.
  3. Inside the chat bar, multiplayer games now have two tabs: Game Chat and Table Chat. Make sure you are on the Table Chat tab and you will be able to chat with the other players in your game.

Q: What is the difference between Game Chat and Table Chat?

A: The main difference is who is in the room. With Game Chat you can choose a room to join and chat with everyone else who has chosen that room. With Table Chat you first have to start playing the game with other people and then you will be automatically placed into a special room with just those players. Because of this, Table Chat is only available on multiplayer games.

Q: Where can I find Table Chat in the new Pogo experience?

A: The new Table Chat can be found in Spades HD, and replaces the old in-game chat feature. It can be accessed the same way you access Game Chat – by clicking the Chat icon in the bottom-right corner of the screen. Please note: Table Chat won’t be visible until opened. When you open the Chat Menu, it will default to Table Chat.

TC1.jpg

TC2.jpg

TC3.jpg

Table Chat will be rolling out to all of our multiplayer games in the future.

Q: Is Table Chat available to everyone on Pogo?

A: All players with a Pogo or Club Pogo account have access to Table Chat. Make sure you’re signed in to use it. Need an account? Register for free or join Club Pogo!

Q: What features are included in this version of Table Chat?

A: The new Table Chat has all the same features as Game Chat. That means you can do things like add Pogo friends or view player profiles.

Q: Will I be able to use Table Chat and Game Chat at the same time?

A: Yes, Table Chat and Game Chat are completely independent so you can be in one Table Chat room and one Game Chat room at the same time. However, you can only view the messages of one room at a time.

Q: How can I report a problem player in Table Chat?

A: This works the same way it does in Game Chat. If someone is being disruptive in chat, just click on the player’s avatar to view their Player Card. From there you can click on the “Report” button. This will also automatically block the player so that you won’t see messages from that player anymore.

Q: Is Game Chat available on mobile?

A: Chat is currently only available on desktops and laptops. We'll be introducing support for other devices in future updates.

Q: How does the chat filter work?

A: The chat filter works automatically in all chat conversations and cannot be turned off. When the filter catches a profane word, the message appears to other players with asterisks. Please note that we are fine-tuning the current filter, as it is censoring some inoffensive words. We want to provide a safe, pleasant and comfortable environment for everyone.

As a reminder, when you use Pogo chat, you adhere to the EA User Agreement.

This states, in part, when you access or use an EA Service, you agree that you will not: Interfere with or disrupt another player’s use of an EA Service.

  • Harass, threaten, bully, embarrass, spam, or do anything else to another player that is unwanted, such as repeatedly sending unwanted messages or making personal attacks or statements about race, sexual orientation, religion, heritage, etc. Hate speech is not tolerated.
  • Engage in any other activity that significantly disturbs the peaceful, fair, and respectful gaming environment of an EA Service.

If you fail to abide by these rules, action may be taken on your account, up to and including account termination.

Abuse and harassment – Inappropriate behavior on any part of Pogo is not acceptable or permitted. If you experience abuse or harassment on Pogo, know you have options to:

  • Mute a player
  • Block a player
  • Report a player
  • If you come across someone who is cheating or is harassing you, click here to be guided through the way in which to report an abusive player.
