Can terrain tools please be fixed so they go right up to the walls of a building?
This looks ugly with that gap all the way round.
Does anyone have a way to make this look better? I can’t use rocks because there is a balcony above this.

@GeordieJLK Please reference this video at about minute 11 on. It has a very creative workaround that I think you may like? (Thanks, BluebellFlora)

@GeordieJLK There are aspects of the terrain height tools that can be frustrating for sure. Can you please clarify - are you referring to the gap between the terrain height, or are you referring to terrain paint? Also, are you referring to the fact that terrain paint will not apply to an area with steep inclines at a certain incline, in which case you will only see rocks/dire, and the color of those will be determined by the world you are in?

Hi,
I'm referring to the gap between the tall terrain height and the wall. It won’t go all the way to the wall.

@GeordieJLK Please grab the plumbob in the middle of the room and pull it up so the foundation will be added, then adjust until the gap closes.
Please let me know if this address es your issue.
There is more about the terrain height tools at this link: https://www.carls-sims-4-guide.com/tutorials/building/terrain-tools.php

That’s not the issue.
I want the raised terrain to be touching the top of the wall, so that that side of the room is underground.
The closest the terrain will get is about one block away.

@GeordieJLK Yes, I get that same result. If you do a plain foundation that is colored in a way that helps it not look like foundation, you can sometimes achieve the look of it not being foundation. Sorry I don't have a workaround that is more to what you're looking for.
But... I am wondering if what Aljay did with this build may be of interest to you. If you download it and look up close at how she tackled some of these challenges I hope you will find it as interesting as I did:

First, create a basement. then select it underground when you cam above ground it will look like pic one. Then you click on the yellow line and then click remove. then you have what you see in pic two. Otherwise, then no the terrain tool will not let you push the dirt up against the walls.
I hope this was some help

@RavenLure awesome! I hadn't tried it that way! Great job!!

@GeordieJLK I tried @RavenLure 's method and was able to make the full floor above ground. I will try to make you a video to show how. It will take me a bit... hold on.
