Adopted child can't complete super parent?

I had a couple adopt and the mother was on the super parent aspiration 

The adopted daughter,  their only child,  had 3 reward traits in manners,  responsibility and emotional control as she went into young adult.  

This didn't complete the mother's aspiration challenge to have a child achieve this.  

Fluke or adoption doesn't count?
