Is anyone else not getting Adverts from this STS Challenge. Or their mailboxes?  

I stopped getting any today ( August 10, 2020 )

This is really frustrating, since those little rewards are really helpful to get this Event done.  

Can’t tell you how many Sugar Cookies & Simoleans I couldn’t get, because of this bug. 

@SalixCat    I added my bug report to the list of known bugs (Ads Not Playing & Giving Rewards)
but just wanted to see if anyone else is having the same issue

@katclawsx3Yeah, that happens on my account sometimes, too. Though the ads usually start up again the next time I do more rounds, several hours later. I agree, its darned inconvenient when it does happen.

A funny thing happened to me last night, though. I was doing three showdowns in a row and it showed ads available but wouldn't actually play the ads. My sim just stood there looking thoughtful for a few secs and then I got the reward. Thats a new glitch I could get used to, lol.

Those ads might be a real pain, but sometimes they are just enough to kick you into the next step of a challenge.

@katclawsx3 It was happening to me too and I read the solution here.

On Android phones, go to Settings --> Google --> Advertising --> Reset your advertising ID.

If you do it and you close and reopen the game, the problem goes away.

I was able to open all the boxes needed & also get the grand prizes. Though I was a bit reckless in the showdowns thus I had to spend some simoleons to get further on the showdowns. Also was not playing as diligently compared to the previous STS coz I had real life things to do...
