Hospital is missing or disappeared

I just had my sim join the doctor career in Get to Work and when she goes to work it takes me to an empty lot. It gives me the tasks to do but there is no hospital building. What has caused this or what can I do to fix this? I have tried repairing the game already but nothing.

@katpat8830 Can you try if you can just place a hospital from the gallery ?

Type testingcheats true in the cheat console and then bb.enablefreebuild

That should let you build on the lot.
