Game won't load

Can't even play the game since the new patch. It just acts like it's loading, regardless of what I'm doing and the game is unresponsive for 30 seconds or more every couple of mins. Haven't even had the chance to explore the ability to add/change any pronouns to my Sims.

@tashiejade I split your post from the master as it doesn't have anything to do with the pronouns.

Are you using mods/cc ? If so, have you tried without ?
