PvZGW2Update

The latest in our series of balance updates has sprouted for Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2! You can download it now and then shamble into battle – where things won’t be quite the same as yesterday. Here’s a look at what has changed:

Party characters not in “Party Time!” feel lackluster and don’t have the same kind of game impact as other legendary characters. This patch looks to change that by giving the Party characters a much-needed boost to their base damage.

Sunflower is our token healer but gets punished heavily, and as a result is not seeing much playtime. We are increasing the Sunflower’s health for all variants with the goal to improve her survivability. Additionally, Stuffy Flower received a damage buff so it’s easier to get that final blow and utilize her passive ability.

Captain Squawk, Plumber, and Landscaper were seeing low playtime. We made some quality of life tuning changes for them so they should play and feel better.

I think a good number of these changes were reverted in later patches.  Were you playiing when this patch went in?  The stuffy flower spam was disgusting.  I played with some highly skilled players back then, and the zombies couldn't even get out of their spawn.

yes i was playing back then and I'm not really a fan of sunflowers in general but i do see what you mean the thing i really liked about Februarys update was soil survivors twilight chomper and wall nut hills the only one downside to soil survivors is the AFK people.

This thread was about last year's patch (2018).  I agree that this year's patch in 2019 was very nice!  One thing that is striking about soil survivors is that if you are playing in a group, you will almost always be split up due to the small team limit.
