Hi guys, I created my game specific indentity way back in 2014 and it's so dumb and stupid that I can not handle it anymore, does anyone know how to change it?

Hello @lilaaaaaaaaaaali,
Your game-specific identity for The Sims is your username for thesims3.com and once this is set, I'm afraid this cannot be edited. This username doesn't show in-game though for in The Sims 4, it's only viewable on The Sims 3 website and exchange.

I was initially referred to here by the EA Customer Support team. As you can see I'm looking to change my Game Specific Identity for The Sims, does anyone know how to do this? Because I've got an ID that was made years ago and I want to change it to match my current Origin ID.
TIA to anyone that helps me solve this issue!
Note; I play on Mac, don't know if that helps in any way!

Hi @EA_Solaire
Thank you, so there is definitely no way it can be changed?
it's just my friend's go-to look me up on the gallery in The Sims 4 to view my creations but my profile doesn't appear under MysticSimmerWolf and just shows up under my old Origin ID.
Kind regards though!

Your Game Specific Identity that you see on your EA account under the Connections section is only for The Sims 3 online exchange- this wouldn't be your online name for The Sims 4 Gallery.
Your online ID for The Sims 4 Gallery would be the same as your EA ID on your EA account. If this doesn't match, can you let me know if you just updated your EA ID recently? Sometimes it can take awhile for your Gallery ID to change in-game if you've just recently changed your EA ID.

Oh okay, I understand that better now, thank you for clearing it up for me!
I have changed in the last few days, yes, maybe that's what it is then. I didn't know it affected the gallery like that but I will give it a few more days and see if there is a change. Thank you for your help!

I want to delete a game specific identity from my EA account. I know that it's possible to edit EA ID but it doesn't change game specific identities.
I’ve already contacted EA support about this about two years ago and answer was no, a game specific identity can’t be deleted or edited even by EA staff. But I still desperately want to remove it since my gender identity has changed since the creation of that game specific identity. I associate that old name strongly to my old gender identity and it's very hurtful to see in my account information. And on top of that my EA friends can see it too nowadays after the Origin to EA app update.
The game specific identity I want to delete is under ”The Sims” which means The Sims 3 and not The Sims 4 (I have both games) according to this source: https://answers.ea.com/t5/General-Discussion-Feedback/Game-Specific-Identity-Change/td-p/6962702
So if I get The Sims 3 game removed entirely from my EA account which seems to be possible via EA support will my game specific identity be removed too? I understand that removing the game from my account will be permanent. I just want to get rid off the game specific identity so badly.
I would simply just delete my old EA account and make a new one if I hadn't spent over a thousand dollars on Apex Legends.

My message was moved to this "solved" thread but it's not answering to my main question: If I get The Sims 3 game removed entirely from my EA account which seems to be possible via EA support will my game specific identity be removed too? I understand that removing the game from my account will be permanent.
I'm talking about removing the whole game from my account and not just uninstalling it. I have to clarify this since EA support didn't understand this when I contacted them via email about this.
