[FAQ] The Happy at Home Login Event [ Edited ]

The Happy at Home Login event is the first Event we're getting for the Sims 4. Currently there's different problems which is why I put this FAQ for the problems together.

How do I get the rewards

It’s easy to claim the rewards as long as you have access to the game. All you need to do is start the game and get them from the main menu.

Click on the freezer bunny in the upper left corner to open the pop-up if it doesn’t directly open on it’s own.

You will see when the next reward is available. Please be aware that the timer is in US format (MM/DD/YYYY)

I don't see the freezer bunny nor the pop-up

The event should now be live for everyone.

For which platforms is the event available

The login event is available since May 30th for PC (EA app, Epic Games, Steam), Mac (EA app, Origin), PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One

What happens if I don't participate from start

According to EA there's plenty of time even if you come late. All you need to do is login at 8 different days before the end of the 5 weeks. Some reward aren't available until a certain week unlocks but once it's unlocked, it's also unlocked for people just starting out. You can claim all items without week cool-down.

I do have the menu but not the pop-up and nothing happens when I click on the tile

To make sure an issue isn’t mods/cc related, remove them all from your game and test without.

Always either start a new save to test or test on a backup of your save game. All CC will be removed from your save game.

1. Open the following folder: Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4
2. Select the folder Mods and right-click on Cut.
3. Go to your desktop and right-click on Paste
4. Delete all cache files (again)

I used to have the freezer bunny tile and was able to claim my items but now it disappeared

Unlocked items are not available on my other computer.

Unlocked items are locally stored in your user folder. You need to copy Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 >userSetting(.ini) from the computer where you unlocked the items to your other computer.

There is currently no solution for XBox/Playstation.

I renamed my user folder and now my rewards are gone

Unlocked items are locally stored in your user folder. You need to copy Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 >userSetting(.ini)  from the renamed folder to the new one.

I can't claim the second items, it wants me to claim the first again.

Bit unclear what's happening currently. If you messed around with your user folder you potentially deleted the userSettings.ini file. See above for that.

I claimed the a few but now I can't claim the next one.

The timer on the pop-up is a bit misleading. You need to wait until week x unlocks to be able to claim the next item.
