[FAQ] Sims 4 Console Mods and CC

I think that ps4 and xbox should be able to have mods and cc i have a chromebook which i cant play sims 4 on so as a lenovo computer which i cant play on and my windows 10 is broken

The official platform for curated mods started yesterday. I'm really disappointed that we, console players who pay for the game the same price as PC/Mac players can not have any cc pack even. There is a lot of collaborations with people like HeyHarrie but currently we only have 5 items only... I don't want to sound emotional, but to be honest I'm really frustrated to share my ideas and the feedback without ANY official answer for ANY of my question.

Love to see custom content on console tbh 

I know it may never happen 

I see all these extra items/builds then I see its done by custom content 

I know a few other games allow mods/cc on console 

Even if we get cc for clothes or maybe ea can do a cc kit/pack for console

I'd love to see this too. I just saw some beautiful artwork that a PC player had used in their build.

If we can't have CC for technical or logistical reasons I think a great way to add creations to the game is the way they've done it before where creators made something for the game and it was added in a free drop. I'd love to see more of that. I'd also like to see community kits. Maybe CC creators could submit designs for an annual community creations kit. It could have a wide variety of objects with the common theme that it was totally designed by talented CC creators.

@Racehunter5555   Hi!  I agree.  I mostly play on PC but it would be great to add some CC for console.  It shouldn't be that difficult to offer it as DLC like any other game that offers skins or whatever.  Perhaps the EA team could leverage their partnership with CurseForge to enable this.

@simsplayer818   I love the idea of offering collaborative kits!  There are already a lot of CC "kits" available for Mac / PC.  I can see how it could be mutually beneficial (and profitable) for EA and the CC creators / collaborators.  I wonder if they could even offer opportunities for players to vote for which CC kits or themes we want to see next?  Just thinking out loud; so to speak. :-)

@JonaO703 A vote is a great idea! I'd like to see the votes on here too as I don't use Twitter.
On console we often don't get to know who these creators are, we see them mentioned but only see their creations if we really search for them just to look at what we can't have. It brings their talents to a whole new market place.
Plus, I must confess to a bit of a kit addiction!

I Find it so unfair why console players can’t download custom content and mods the only thing that needs to be done is for them to add the option that allows custom content and mods to be enabled and then it would work and I would love to know why they haven’t done it

Why can’t EA add CC and mods on console like it isn’t that hard to allow the consoles to have the same features as the PC it’s seriously so unfair

If you would be smart on the consoles a not get a lot of mods I’ll say the consoles should be able to take them even possible the PS4 it still has some life in it!! An I darn well the PS5 can!!! Unless you bought them all, then it’s ur console if ur on the PS5. I’ve got the PS5 an got like 8 Sim 4 games on it an there’s like hardly any problems there’s a few but I think it’s on their end not mine… Cause lots of people have been having the same problems with what I’m having issues with now!! So I’m taking a guess your on the PS4 or one of the Xbox consoles cause I’ve never played the Sims on the PS4 nor the Xbox I dislike the Xbox so I’ve never played the Xbox but the original….

There’s a lot more than that now have ya heard anything from Ea Sports or Sony? I’m on the PS5 an only want a few mods I loved the mods on my PC it would be so much better with mods!!
