Start a New Relationship want not completing

I have a noncommittal Sim who got a want to start a new relationship. He is currently married but I had him do romantic socials with another Sim and then ask her to be his girlfriend. She accepted. I figured this would be enough to complete the want, but it did not complete. Not sure if this is a bug or if there is something else I have to do? Does he have to break up with/divorce his wife first?

@moswalt89  Please try having the sim break up with the spouse and see if it works.  He might need to start a new relationship after a breakup.  You don't need to save your progress; this is just for testing.

Please also let us know whether this happens with no mods present.  Here again, you don't need to save your progress.

Looks like I had to have him divorce his wife and propose to a new sim.

I'm not sure if it's appropriate for me to tag onto this thread, as this is my first time commenting and I found this thread from googling the issue.

I have the same problem, except my Non-Committal sim is single and not married. When in a relationship, she often gets a Wish to break up with her partner, and I fulfill that with the Break-Up command. Then after a while of being single, she gets a Wish to start a new relationship. Asking a new sim to be her boyfriend/girlfriend does not complete the Wish.

She has been romantic/flirty with other sims without starting a relationship with them, so that's possibly the problem? She's broken up with all past official partners but has not Asked To Be Just Friends with just everybody she has romantic levels with.

@shugz24_00 As this forum area is now especially for mod/CC issues, not other ones, are you playing with mods and CC? If so, have you tested without?

I was not playing with mods at the time of creating that post. I have since added MCCC and still experience the same issue, but this issue existed prior to playing with mods.
