Sims gone after love struck updat

I just recently did the Lovestruck update and now i don’t have any sims. I can see i have saved games and when i click on it, it will take me to the world selection screen but i have no households in any of the worlds or it will load me into the lot in live mode but my sim isn’t there. CAS also will not open just stuck on white screen. I’ve restarted my pc and  repaired the game but it didn’t do anything

Does this happen in a vanilla game without mods?
