Infinite Loading Screen [ Edited ]

I'm having a problem with a 1year+ old save file; I cannot open it and the game gives me an infinite loading screen.

 -I tried to open the game with a fresh "the sims 4" directory, which did not help with the save file (I can create a new save file normally) (I let the game create a new folder and opened the game, played with a new family, saved and closed. Then I deleted the save directory, Tray and TraydeletedItems, then I added my save files and Tray and the bug still happened)

-I do play with mods but I've tried to deleted most of them and the bug persisted (they are all updated), I tried on a fresh folder (what got rid of all my mods for the sake of the test) and also didn't help.

-This save file was experiencing a bug where it was creating multiple Henford-On-Bagley mayors... (I had MCCC at the time, which i believe to be the cause of this infinite generation)

-I stopped playing the game once the travelling bugs that got fixed recently started happening, and then updated it and got Lovestruck. (+I had previously uninstalled some packs that were used in this save file, such as Snowy Escape in where Mt. Komorebi had a playable family living there)

I believe I provided a bunch of information, does anyone know if there's a way to open the save file? Sorry if I wrote too many words.

I've never seen it not loading the save at all though.

Do you own or rent ?

The best I can think of currently is to disable for rent. You will loose all content of course but that might be better than not playing at all.

Other option would be to try a backup if you have one.

If so, is it just that particular lot that doesn't load or any in your save ?

@crinrictIt did not load when I tried to resume, and I've tried opening the save through the tab where you pick the save file I want to load( because I always do it this way). But as I created a fresh save file, there is no option to resume to this particular save by the way.

It doesn't load at all, the save does not open - Perhaps I could try to remove the other save files I have and I could try to resume with only the one that's not working, not sure.

+ Forgot to mention that I've already repaired the game twice

Going through load is better as it doesn't directly load a family/lot that's potentially buggy so if you did that and you're not even getting to the map, then something more is going on.

Do you have any LastException files in Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 ?

Best is to delete the ones you have, then trigger the error and check if new ones are created.

If that is the case, please upload them to a new post in this thread.

Please either create a .rar file to upload or copy/paste the content into your post.

Deleting the file won't fix your issue. Uploading the file is meant for troubleshooting.

@crinrict It's a UI Exception, I've tried to use better exeptions to scan this but it accused 2 UI mods that are updated (and as I said, the bug still occurs on a fresh Sims 4 directory, so I don't think it's caused by mods..?

@crinrict That's sad. I have multiple sims renting in this save file. I will try to load the game without For Rent to see later today.

Do you think it might work to open the save file without For Rent and then add it back later on?

I don't have backups, I deleted it sadly. Although the game works fine with For Rent in a newly created save file, maybe I could try to redo the save file as a workaround, not sure.

@nik100000000000 It's possible that you can add it back but keep frequent /multiple backups if you do.

I would backup your file as it is now, then disable for rent and check if you can load and how bad it is.
