Happy Login Event not appearing (Past June 13th)

I did the steps outlined to manually for an update, it said the app was already up to date. I tried running the EA Error reporter again and still got an error.

I have tried all of the troubleshooting steps with no luck still. 

1. Playing on the PC EA app. 

2. Game version 1.107.151.1020 DX9

3. English (US)

4. USA 

5. No freezer bunny tile. I have not ever seen it since this began. 

6. I have removed all mods and CC to no effect.

• Any mods/cc in your game ? Not presently. I pulled them all out and deleted the local thumbnail and avatar cache.

I haven't seen hide nor hair of the bunny tile in my game. I took my mods out, I repaired the game. I checked that the EA app was up to date manually and it said it was.

Edit: Like others, my Main Menu shows the "Step One, Step Two, Step Three" along the top.

This took me a few attempts but it did download an update - now when I run the updater it tells me the EA app is up to date (ran it twice to be absolutely sure and it said this both times).

I repeated all the suggested steps in the opening post again after it said it was updated, and still no change the Sims 4, and I still get looping errors when attempting to send a report (I've been resending them for about 10 minutes now to no avail).

Hi @Monophony,

That's really strange, I'm wondering if this could be related to your privacy settings.

If you click this link and log in, are both of the boxes checked at the top of the Privacy Settings page? If not, can you try clicking both boxes and let me know if that changes anything? You may need to clear the EA app cache after doing so. 

Now those settings should not impact the login event at all, but I've seen some odd behavior in the past that did end up being related to those checkboxes that we were able to resolve once we figured out the marketing opt ins were the culprit. 

Please let me know.

Ticked them on and hit update, cleared cache on app and game both (just to be sure), no change. Toggled back off and back on again, cleared cache, logged out/in – nothing, no change to the main menu at all, and error reports still error loop endlessly.

I’m probably just gonna admit defeat tbh. I really wanted that version of the Cats and Dogs hair without the dip dye, but good grief it is not worth this.

I have updated, deleted cache folders, and repaired my game numerous times the last two weeks.

Today, June 13th, we were all supposed to have access to claim the rewards for the Happy Home Event, and I still do not have the proper tile on my main menu to claim the rewards.

I do NOT use any third party custom content, ever.

what is going on?

I have been unable to get the freezer bunny as well.  I have tried all the trouble shooting steps.

And disregard, it started working the next time I ran the game after posting.

5. No. My menu has "Step 1 How To Create Sims", "Step 2 Choose A World", and "Step 3 Create Your House". I have had these tiles on my main menu for months. Also, an ad for an Eco Lifestyle sale, despite my owning the pack. Dunno if that's pertinent or not.
6. I completely removed the mods folder from my user files. Additionally, mods are disabled in the game settings.
7. "Your error report encountered an error" Real cute. If it allows me to submit an error report, I'll let y'all know.

EDIT (0400UTC): Interesting. Shortly after posting my report, another poster edited theirs stating they also have the "Step 1, Step 2, Step 3" tiles. By my count that's now 3 reports with a commonality.
