Wondering when can we play cross platform?

Can EA develop a cross platform system for PC players to play with PS and Xbox players? Since i have bought a lot of games on PC, i do not want to spend any more money on buying PS or Xbox and their games.

@DaggerDiek Any decisions on cross-platform would be down to the platform developers. It would be great to see but as for a number of reasons it is most likely a couple of years away.

@vchiechi It's not possible to play A Way Out across platform so Xbox to PC is not possible.
