It is kinda like they dont give a * or there is NO ONE in AFRICA to MANAGE this PROBLEM!!!!!

Weak!
Any ISP's in South Africa would partner up with EA to run BF1 servers locally
EA has SA gamers by the balls

Do you have figures of how many potential players in SA?

Hi All,
It seems the only way we are going to get a response is to spam them on their forum, see conversation below with EA support.
Get everyone you know to post a complaint and lets hope for the best.
info: Your approximate wait time is 23 minute. |

We need to contact the community manager for Africa, I am trying to find EA reps in Africa but there seems to be no one answering for Africa. TWITTER is probably the best way to promote this problem as it is more public and if enough people speak on behalf of this problem maybe...maybe then it will be solved. I have contacted Braddock512 which is EA Community Manager for North America and is basically running the Battlefield Forum.

I have tried emailing addresses I find on Google, I have submitted multiple cases in EA Help, I have waited close to an hour for an EA adviser to start a chat with me.....all of this and not one single word. I feel that EA owes their clients who pay money for their products answers to these questions and so far it looks like I am not the only one not getting any. I agree with all the messages above-if no EA official servers will be in SA then at least allow third party hosting.
I don't expect EA to actually reply to this message but I want to at least add my voice to this cry for a service that we pay for and haven't received.
EA you need to respond to our questions because we are all keen on playing BF1 and really would like to continue supporting good games in future.

- So EA South Africa has no Facebook page:
https://www.facebook.com/pages/Electronic-Arts-EA-South-Africa/278940792406
The African support has been changed to the Asian Pacific Community instead:
https://www.facebook.com/EAGames
- The Twitter account for EA South Africa has not been updated since the 20th of September, NOT EVEN TO PROMOTE BATTLEFIELD1 (most recent post was for Fifa 2017).
https://twitter.com/EA_SouthAfrica
General Manager for EA South Africa is: Grant Oliver
Marketing manager for EA South Africa is: Ralph Spinks
It really seems like EA Africa is not active at all. Why Twitter EA South Africa is not posting anything regarding to Battlefield 1 is because they already know that the multiplayer experience for African Community will be at 200 Ping by default, hence that is not a respectable and a misleading marketing scheme for them to advertise to the public with the result of having customers regretting the purchase. If they are quite they can not be accountable for what they haven't said and what they haven't promised!

I am sick and tired of this.
EA, we cannot play with these high latencies! It is aggravating!
I will have to demand a refund if SA servers are not put in soon as there was no notice whatsoever that there will not be any multiplayer servers in our country!

Reading all the threads I feel stupid, should have looked before I bought the game. Playing with a ping of 200 is painful. Played the other battlefields now this, R900 down the drain. Tip from me, I also play over watch with blizzard and that seems ok. But yes, I suppose we in Africa, wait, I just need to stroke the Lion next to me before he bites me. But yes EA South Africa u would not care in any case u have our money. I told some1 to buy the game, he will this weekend, guess what I will tell him before week end

Is anyone aware of a news update on this?
