It will be first anniversary of Battlefield 1.

the Barbed Wire Bat is an exclusive item - exclusivity expires 1 year after launch of the game indeed.

For now, the item can be obtained by redeeming a code on Origin that comes with the purchase of select Logitech products. There is no information yet about what happens with the item after exclusivity expires. More general information about the Logitech offer can be found here.
