Why no coach mode option in franchise?

There is a coach mode option available in exhibition mode where the QB will operate on their own after the snap, but that option is not available in franchise. I don't care about "stick skills" or competition-- I just like to call plays on offense and I also like franchise.Why no coach mode option in franchise? Surely that wouldn't have been hard to put in?

I feel the same way that you do!!! The only reason that I bought the game was because of that.  I just call the plays.  SMH

Yessss, EA sports there is a market for this. Can you PLEASE make an update and solve this issue for us!!!
